Bec Wisby is a versatile creative living and working in Brunswick. Constantly seeking ways to develop her skills and experience in drawing and ceramics. Most recently she has delved into the wonderful world of wheel throwing from her studio at home, working on a collection of stoneware vases and vessels. Using recycled clay and glazing in simple white to retain the focus on form, she draws inspiration from the responsiveness of the material and the intuitive process of making itself. Bec’s work embodies the acceptance of oddity and imperfection, as she includes all pieces through the making process leaving nothing behind.
